- A farm girl Dorothy from the U.S. state of Kansas embarks with her companion dog, Toto, on an adventure to the Land of Oz with the guidance of the Good Witch of the East by following the Yellow Brick Road. She finds new friends along the way with the Scare Crow who needs a brain, the Tin Woodsman who needs a heart, and the Cowardly Lion who needs courage, All three join Dorothy and Toto on their journey to Oz with occasional adverse encounters with the Wicked Witch of the West and her winged monkeys. The Wicked Witch is pursuing Dorothy's ruby red slippers for their value and power
